A combination of static compression, passive yoga stretches, and joint articulation movements
Traditional Thai Bodywork, sometimes referred to as Thai yoga, is a dynamic and comprehensive type of physical medicine that combines passive yoga-like stretches with static compression to move breath, or Lom in order to open the body and improve articulation in the joints. It is said to have originated in India and then travelled via the Silk Roads to Thailand where it was practiced and preserved by Buddhist monks. It has influences from both Ayuvedic and Chinese medicines.
