What is it?

Thai herbal medicine is based on the Four Taste system, herbs for skin, tissue, sen and bone. Spicy herbs permeate the layer of skin while astringent herbs permeate to the layer of tissue and sen to move blocked wind. Salty herbs permeate to the layer of bone. In this treatment, the Four Taste blend is used to work the skin layer and the Lanna blend is used to work skin, tissue and sen layers.

Folks who have arthritis, or other inflammatory conditions as well as anyone who loves treatments involving heat.

What to expect:

Unlike Traditional Thai, this treatment requires skin contact with the compress so the receiver is unclothed and draping is used. This is a hot therapy like hot stone so it is important there is communication between the practitioner and the client to ensure a comfortable toleration of temperature.
